Ms. Mangino comes to us from Woodstock CUSD 200 where she worked first as the Dean and then Assistant Principal of Woodstock High School. While at Woodstock High School, Ms. Mangino garnered a great deal of experience working in the implementation of professional development to meet SIP goals and in supporting restorative practices and PBIS oriented strategies. Having spent most of her career in middle school she is very excited to return to this educational level and work with the Webster family to continue to support the social/emotional, career and academic goals of the adolescent student.

Ms. Mangino began her educational career teaching high school and middle school in the Brandywine School District in Wilmington Delaware.  As a Delaware native, she earned her B. A. in English Education from the University of Delaware and worked locally before relocating to the Chicagoland area. Upon relocating she worked as a 7th/8th grade ELA teacher in Kildeer-Countryside District 96.   During this time she also completed her M. Ed in Administration and Supervision at National Louis University in Wheeling, Illinois.

From here she worked as the Assistant Principal of Lincoln Junior High in Skokie/ Morton Grove and Meridian Middle School in Aptakisic-Tripp School District 102.  Recognizing the need for social emotional education and support for students, Ms. Mangino completed a second masters degree and earned an M. A. in School Counseling from Concordia University of Chicago in River Forest, Illinois.

Ms. Mangino is the proud mom of Aiden (17) and Connor (16).  Aiden is going into his senior year and Connor will be a sophomore in the fall. Both boys attend Warren Township High School. Ms. Mangino enjoys biking, cooking, and caring for her pets and family.  She is eager to join her new professional family and is thankful for the opportunity to join the Daniel Webster community.
